Note to Members: By decision of the Executive Board of MinneTESOL, the MinneTESOL Resource Center is now closed.

This collection of books was housed for many, many years by Hamline University in Bush Library. The collection was becoming rather outdated, and the limited ability of MinneTESOL members to use this collection caused the Board to re-consider its usefulness in 2008. In April, 2009, Board member Rosemary Sharkey and Hamline professor Kathryn Heinze reviewed and culled the collection. Many of the books were donated to Hamline’s library, while others were either donated to local teachers or recycled.

The MinneTESOL Board would like to thank several people for their time and effort with the MinneTESOL Resource Center. In particular, Joy Brown dedicated many hours doing inventory and updating the collection in years past. We’d like to thank her for her dedication to this project! In addition, we thank Rosemary Sharkey, Kathryn Heinze, and Ann Mabbott for their help in the process of closing out the collection. And finally, we thank Hamline University and Bush Library for their years of storing this collection for ESOL professionals in Minnesota.
