Join the MinneTESOL College Interest Section for some professional development and networking!
Rhonda Petree will be sharing information about a language research project completed by international students in her Academic Language and University Culture class. She’ll describe the inspiration for the project as well as the logistical procedures. She will also share examples of the final poster projects that students presented at UWRF’s Undergraduate Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activity Fall Gala.
Rhonda Petree earned a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She served as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps in Kazakhstan. She holds a MA in English as a Second Language from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She taught at the Hubbs Center in St. Paul for seven years and is currently the director of the English Language Transition Program at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
