The University of Minnesota’s M.A. in ESL qualifies you to teach ESL/EFL to adults in college, university, and professional settings world-wide. Holders of this M.A. in ESL degree have taught in virtually every institution of higher education in the state of Minnesota, including the University of Minnesota, Hamline University, and MCTC. They also work at Columbia Teachers’ College, Boston University, University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin, ETS in the U.S., and in international positions such as MSU in Akita Japan, the University of Munich, Kanda University Japan. A 2-year program, we offer financial assistance in the form of graduate assistant positions, tuition waivers, and block grant funds.
