In the MinneTESOL College Interest Section meeting, a panel of CIS members will share their experience developing multilingual college students’ social language and conversation skills through encouraging student engagement and English practice outside of class. Participants will discuss how to help break students out of their comfort zone to make small talk, make friends, and become more involved in the campus community. Members will also discuss spring workshop plans and other IS business.
