Linking Writing Instruction to the Science of Reading: A Genre-Based Approach

This interactive workshop explores the relationship between a genre-based approach to writing instruction and the Science of Reading (SoR). We will discuss how principles supported by both a genre-based approach and the SoR can be implemented in the classroom through the use of the Teaching and Learning Cycle.
