Identifying English Learners for Gifted and Talented Programs K-12 ALL AREAS

EL Learners are disproportionately underrepresented in Gifted & Talented programs, and they often do not have equal access to advanced classes. This presentation will discuss the importance of early identification and ways to connect EL Learners’ strengths to opportunities for higher learning to maximize their motivation and potential.
