Noun Pluralization Errors In Somali L2 Writing

Writing error-free papers is vital for academic success, yet Somali L2 writers often struggle, particularly with numeral and quantifier agreement. Analyzing 20 essays reveals that 11 of 20 essays contain 26 noun pluralization errors, yielding an error rate of 2.36 per essay. Our analysis aims to identify these issues and provide recommendations to reduce such errors, ultimately enhancing Somali L2 learners’ writing accuracy.
