2012 Conference
The Fall 2012 MinneTESOL Conference was held at The Commons Hotel in Minneapolis on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3rd.
On Friday, there was a well-attended meeting for EL Coordinator Meeting and 4 wonderful Pre-conference Workshops. Friday night entertainment was provided by Mila Vocal Ensemble, a group of professional female voices honoring the traditional music of Eastern Europe and Russia. On Saturday morning, Walt Wolfram delivered an enlightening keynote address about how to teach sociolinguistic variation in the classroom. Following the keynote was a day filled with 36 Breakout Sessions and 5 Interest Section Meetings.
