Voices from the Field: Ways to Support and Foster Migratory Students in Your Classroom K-12 MEP

Migratory students in your classroom, their time is precious. Many educators have migratory students in their classrooms, and yet the question of how to best support these highly mobile students and their families still remains. This is why it is crucial to hear first-hand from current students and families about how the Migrant Education Program has impacted their educational journey. In this presentation, you will hear testimonials from migratory students, their teachers, and their families. You will collaborate with other educators, about how to effectively build and maintain relationships, that will leave a lasting and positive impact on your migratory students. Lastly, you will receive information about resources that are available to you, in order to help support the migratory students and families you serve.
